What Do I Need Before I Start?

Three things: about 45 minutes, someone who knows the company, and optionally access to your business tools.

You need three things:

1. About 45 minutes

The build session is interactive — you'll review data we've pre-collected about your company and confirm, correct, or fill gaps. Most customers complete their build in 30–60 minutes.

2. Someone who knows the company

The person going through the build should have broad knowledge of the business — how it's structured, how decisions get made, where the pressure points are. This is usually a founder, CEO, COO, or VP of Strategy. If no single person has all the answers, that's fine — you can pause and resume anytime.

3. (Optional) Access to your business tools

Brick-by-Brick can connect to tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Drive, Slack, Jira, QuickBooks, and more. Each connection gives us more intelligence to pre-populate your build, which means fewer questions for you and richer data in your Knowledge Architecture. You can connect tools during setup or skip and add them later.
